Installation¶
Follow these instructions to install ERT on your system:
Using pip (Recommended for General Users)¶
Install via pip - Open your command line interface (CLI) and enter the following command:
$ pip install ert
Verify the installation - Run the following command to display ERT’s help menu. If a message appears explaining how to use ERT, the installation is successful:
$ ert --help
Installing the Development Version¶
If you want to build and install the latest development version, follow the instructions on the ERT Github page.
For Equinor Employees (Using Komodo Release)¶
If you work at Equinor, ERT should be available after sourcing a Komodo release. Run the following command:
$ source /prog/res/komodo/stable/enable
